What we cut
One offs, short runs and repeat production. If it fits the machine and you have a print, we'll quote it.
Production runs
Repeatable short and mid volume batches with consistent setups, fixturing and inspection from part one to part last.
Made to print
Send the drawing and the revision. We machine to your callouts and flag anything that doesn't add up before we cut.
Milling, drilling & tapping
Plates, brackets, housings and hole heavy parts. High speed drilling and rigid tapping on a 40 taper vertical.
Defense & government
ITAR registered and CMMC Level 1, set up to handle controlled drawings and Federal Contract Information properly.
Materials
Aluminum, steel, specialty alloys, engineering plastics and G-10 Garolite. Material certs available on request.

McKinney Machine LLC opened in 2026 as an owner operated shop. No account managers and no handoffs. When you call, you're talking to the machinist who programs, sets up and inspects your parts.
I learned the trade at TCAT Athens, then served my apprenticeship at an international power generation turbine manufacturer. Owning my own shop was always the goal. It isn't my first business, either. I also run Magooster Tackle Co., the tackle company I started as a passion project.
Outside the shop, I'm a husband, a father to three little girls, a deacon at my church, and an avid trout angler.
